- To ensure a secure purchase, please buy from the brand’s official website or an authorised retailer.
- Luxury watches are not sold at markets, in souvenir shops or on the black market.
- You should also be wary of online sales on e-commerce platforms or social media. There are many counterfeit goods to be found there.
- A watch sold for a few dozen euros when it is actually worth 100 or even 1,000 times that amount is a clear sign that it is a counterfeit. You should also be wary of prices that are slightly below market value.
- If it sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t true!
A genuine watch works perfectly. Feel free to try out the various functions: setting the time, the calendar and the chronograph. Everything should work smoothly.
- A genuine watch has flawless finishes.
- Look carefully at the markings, as any irregularities in the typeface, line thickness or alignment indicate that it is a copy.
- A genuine watch has no smudges, no flaws in the paintwork or engraving, no spelling mistakes, and its strap is securely attached.
Generally, each product must be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, a duly completed international warranty card, and an original invoice. The product references must be identical on both the documents and the item itself, and the documents must not contain any spelling mistakes.
